Department Highlights

• Incoming freshmen are placed into a mathematics course based on their performance on the NWEA placement test. Regardless of their placement, all students are required to enroll in a math course in each of the four academic years.
• Students have the capability of completing six math courses within four years
• Students utilize additional math support, that can be personalized based on annual assessments, provided through 
  • Partnerships with Khan Academy and the College Board
  • The OLSH ALLI Program
  • Tutoring in The OWL Center
• Online AP math courses are available for students who want to challenge themselves with courses not offered at OLSH.
