OLSH considers summer transfers to grades 10, 11 and 12 on a case-by-case basis. Transfer students are required to shadow for a day and interview before being accepted. If classes are filled prior to the start of the school year, transfer students may be added to a wait-list.

The Class of 2031 is limited to 95 students on a first-come, first-served basis until the class is filled. Students applying after the class is filled will be added to a wait list. Decisions are communicated via the Blackbaud portal within 2-3 weeks of receipt of all required materials (including required records).

The OLSH Placement Test will take place on Saturday, January 16 and Saturday, January 23 for all 8th grade students interested in attending OLSH in the fall of 2027. All incoming freshmen applicants should register for ONE of these two dates. The top scoring students will be eligible for the St. John Henry Newman Academic Merit Scholarship! Registration coming soon!

To be eligible for the maximum amount of OLSH Financial Aid AND for any need-based scholarships, financial aid applications are due in March prior to the new school year via FACTS. However, eligible families can still apply for aid while funding remains available!
