Charger for a Day Program – September 30, 2019 through April 30, 2020

We invite you to see first-hand what OLSH has to offer by participating in our Charger for a Day program! This unique shadow experience is open to all prospective students in grades 7-10. Visit the Charger for a Day page for more information and to register for your visit.

Early Action Application Period – October 1, 2019 through November 8, 2019

Early Action applicants to the Class of 2024 will have their application fee waived! Submit yours by midnight on November 8, 2019 to take advantage of this opportunity and receive an early acceptance decision. Apply online!

Fall Open House – Sunday, November 3 and Thursday, November 7, 2019

Explore all that OLSH has to offer at one of our Fall Open House events! Take a custom guided tour, meet teachers, students, coaches and parents, and see what makes OLSH the best independent high school in our region! Register online!



Open Application Period – November 9, 2019 through May 31, 2020

The Class of 2024 is limited to 100 students on a first-come, first-served basis until the class is filled. Students applying after the class is filled will be added to a wait list. Decision letters are mailed within 2-3 weeks of receipt of all required materials. Apply online!

2020-2021 Tuition Assistance & Scholarships

Applications for all OLSH Tuition Assistance and Scholarships are due Monday, March 16, 2020. To be eligible for OLSH Financial Aid and for any need-based scholarships, you must submit an application through FACTS. Visit the Affording OLSH page for more details. Applications will be accepted after the deadline, however, funding may be limited.


Class of 2024 Placement Test - Saturday, January 25 or Saturday, February 1, 2020

The OLSH Placement Test will take place on Saturday, January 25 or Saturday, February 1 for all 8th grade students interested in attending OLSH in the fall. All incoming freshmen applicants should take this exam. Because the test is administered via computer, space in each session may be limited. Register online!


Course Scheduling – April 2020

In April, counselors Mrs. Woynar and Mrs. Pihlblad will conduct on-site visits with students currently attending Catholic grade school to review their placement test scores and go over recommended courses. Any students currently attending a public or private non-Catholic school, or who are homeschooled, will be contacted individually by the counselors.

Class of 2024 Welcome Night – Wednesday, May 6, 2020

We officially welcome the newly accepted OLSH freshman class and their families at our annual Welcome Night on Wednesday, May 6 at 7:00 pm.  Please save the date for this important event!
OLSH Scholarship and Tuition Assistance Information Night will be held on Thursday, January 23, 2020 at 6:30 pm in the OLSH Auditorium! Visit our Affording OLSH page for more information. RSVP requested to the Admissions Office at (412) 262-3300.
