Department Highlights

  • All freshman students are required to take the Technology & Online Information Literacy (TOIL) course, which provides an introduction to a variety of online tools and educational software, as well as instruction in responsible digital citizenship.
  • The Intro to Engineering Design and 3D Modeling course provides students access to 3D Modeling software and 3D printers.
  • Studio M, the newly redesigned and remodeled OLSH TV studio and production lab, has the capability to stream morning announcements live each day. The studio features professional quality lighting, cameras, sound boards, teleprompters, green screens, and video editing stations.
  • AP Computer Science Principles and AP Computer Science A are part of Notre Dame’s AP Teacher Investment Program, providing valuable resources for the instructor and students.
  • Introduction to Computer Programming and Intermediate Computer Programming are College in High School (CHS) courses, providing students the opportunity to earn college credit from the University of Pittsburgh for successful course completion.
