Parents
Parents are essential and valued members of the OLSH community.
Parents find a home at OLSH just as often and as easily as their students do! There are a host of opportunities to volunteer, various social events just for parents throughout the year, and many parents build friendships with fellow OLSH parents that last a lifetime.
We work hard to keep parents informed about everything happening at OLSH through our school calendars, weekly Grapevine emails, monthly e-newsletters, and other communications. We encourage parents to stay connected with what's happening around OLSH through the News section on our website, our social media channels, and the school calendar. Parents who have specific questions or want to get more involved can contact the Main Office at (412) 264-5140.
Volunteering at OLSH
Each year, OLSH is blessed with numerous volunteers who help with a variety of tasks and serve as office assistants, library aides, chaperones, concession workers, set builders, coaches, and more.
In order to protect our students and maintain compliance with the policies of the Diocese of Pittsburgh and the mandates of the state of Pennsylvania, we have implemented a screening process for all employees and volunteers who may come into contact with our students. Your Blackbaud account is also where you will find your child's report cards and current grades, and attendance information.
