Secure your sponsorship using the registration form below, and a member of our Advancement team will be in touch with you for more information.

Basic Information:

  • Teams may consist of up to 8 people. You do not need to have a team, however, groups of less than 8 may be placed at tables together. You may choose to play alone, as a smaller group, or join the rest of your table to form a full team of 8. If you plan to have a full team but do not know yet who the members will be, feel free to register anyway and fill in their names as "Guest 1, Guest 2..." etc. If you register individually but plan to sit with other registrants, send an email to Cheryl Karashin at [email protected] to let us know who to seat you with.

  • Your team does not need to have a theme, although we encourage you to pick one so that you can decorate your table to match the theme. Attendees will vote on best decorated table. Compete to win a prize at the end of the night! (FYI: If you're bringing a table cloth, tables are rectangular)

  • Some snacks and non-alcoholic beverages will be provided. Otherwise, this is a BYOB
event! Feel free to bring your own food and drinks. Alcohol is permitted. If you can coordinate your snacks and beverages to match your theme, even better!

  • There will be additional games and activities throughout the night. Bring cash to purchase your chance to participate in these extras, or include them in your registration above. Extras include:
    • Dead or Alive - Guess whether the celebrity is dead or alive. The longest-standing guesser wins.
    • Mystery Gumball Game - Win a mystery gift card out of a giant gumball machine!
    • 50/50 raffle
    • Drop ticket raffle baskets

  • Mulligans may be purchased by each team/individual in advance or the night of the event. A Mulligan is a freebie. Don't know the answer to a question? Use a Mulligan and get credit for a correct answer. Only one Mulligan may be used per team per round. There will be 10 rounds of trivia.

  • The winning team will receive $500, PLUS a $500 donation to the OLSH sport or extracurricular activity of your choice. The second place team will receive $300, and the third place team will receive $200.

  • How will this event help OLSH Athletics? The OLSH Athletics general fund is shared by ALL of our sports teams, and helps to pay for things like game officials, security, transportation, awards, venues, and more. The cost of transportation in particular has gone up dramatically over the past few years, while the options available to schools have decreased, leading us to be left with more pricey options (like sending a team to a game via a limousine or other expensive service!). The Advancement Office has a goal of raising $30,000 this academic year to help with these expenses. The dollars raised at Trivia Night will go directly toward covering the aforementioned costs.
