Many things look different this school year, including the way students participate in extracurricular activities, like forensics (speech and debate). Students competing in forensics this year have been excited to still have the opportunity to compete, but have had to make a few adjustments along the way.

The OLSH Christmas Play took on a different look this year, but with the help of many talented alumni, a full variety-show style performance was presented to families just after the holiday.

The generosity of a lead donor and additional contributions from OLSH faculty and staff resulted in over $4,400 distributed to lunch accounts of families who have demonstrated need.

In lieu of a full Ring Day celebration this year, the class rings of the OLSH Class of 2022 were blessed and a video was prepared and shared with students and parents on the traditional date of November 21 - the founding day of the Felician Sisters. We intend to reschedule the Ring Day Mass in 2021.

OLSH adopted a stretch of Ewing Road in Moon Township and National Honor Society members work to keep it clean a few times a year.

Congratulations to the students earning a 3.5 GPA or higher who were named to the first quarter OLSH Honor Roll.

Math teacher Mr. Brian Molka is known for the fun spin he puts on his geometry classes and the colorful posters covering his walls. But he wears a few other hats at OLSH, too, serving as a member of the maintenance crew in the summer, leading the Student Government, and co-coordinating OLSH's Middle States Re-Accreditation efforts.

This fall season has been strong for the Chargers - four teams are continuing on in post-season play and boys and girls cross country head to WPIALs.

Seniors Emma Kenneweg and Ryan Gehring were crowned 2020 Homecoming Queen & King at the October 9 football game, after a week of fun for students.

The fourth annual OLSH Distinguished Alumni Awards brunch was held on Sunday, October 11 at the school, honoring four outstanding OLSH alumni.
