On Sunday, March 8, 120 students and parents came to the OLSH Chapel to join the Sisters for Sunday Mass as part of OLSH's tradition to start each athletic season with a special blessing. At the end of Mass, OLSH Chaplain Fr. Bill Dorner blessed the spring student athletes with the Missionary Prayer. Fr. Bill encouraged the student athletes to go out and spread God’s word through competition and to remember that how they act during competition represents God’s love. Spring sports at OLSH include baseball, softball, boys volleyball, and track & field and regular season competition begins next week.
