Current Employment Opportunities

Head Track and Field Coach

OLSH High School is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Head Coach for Track and Field.  Applications will be accepted until Wednesday, Jan 26th, with the intent for interviews to happen the remaining week of January. We intend for the position to be filled by the first week of February.

Requirements include, but are not limited to:

  • Familiarity with the Felician Core Values of the Felician Sisters and by extension the OLSH academic and athletic programs
  • All necessary clearances required by the state of PA and by the Diocese of Pittsburgh
  • A working knowledge and ability to enter all results and qualifying data into the FAST system, as well as any registration involved in Invitational entries as well as for results after section meets and invitationals.
  • The ability/flexibility to work with limited practice facilities and practice times as necessary, including participation as a visitor in all meets (no home meets)
  • The ability to add and oversee all additional staff.
  • The ability to communicate with all students, parents, and school staff in an appropriate manner and in a timely fashion.

Head Football Coach

OLSH High School is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Head Football Coach.  Applications will be accepted until Tuesday, January 31st, with the intent for interviews to be scheduled the first few weeks of February.  We intend for the position to be filled no later than the end of February.

List of requirements include but are not limited to:

  • Familiarity with the Felician Core Values of the Felician Sisters and by extension the OLSH academic and athletic programs.
  • All necessary clearances required by the state of PA as well as the Diocese of Pittsburgh
  • The willingness and ability to work with off-site practice facilities, as well as off-site home game facilities.
  • The ability to put together and oversee a staff of qualified assistant coaches.
  • The ability/flexibility to work with other coaches of other athletic programs.
  • The ability to communicate with all students, parents, and school staff in an appropriate manner and in a timely fashion.
  • The ability to oversee organization of a parent booster program, and their ability to add additional funds to the football program
  • The ability to showcase and represent the school as an ambassador to the school for incoming prospective students

Permanent Building Substitute Teacher
Our Lady of the Sacred Heart High School in Moon Township, PA is seeking a permanent building substitute teacher through the end of 2021. Interested candidates should submit their resume and cover letter to principal Tim Plocinik (tplocinik@olsh.org). Candidates must be certified by the state of Pennsylvania and be able to provide all necessary clearances defined by the state of PA and the Diocese of Pittsburgh required.

Internship Opportunities 
 
Communications Intern
Our Lady of the Sacred Heart High School (OLSH) is seeking an internship candidate to organize, manage and assist with all aspects of marketing and communications, including social and traditional media, for the school. OLSH relies on a strong marketing and communications effort to increase awareness of the school for the purposes of increasing enrollment and expanding its donor base. As part of a small team, the OLSH Communications Intern would have exposure to various operational areas including public relations, advertising, social media management, website content management, and communications. This is a part-time, unpaid internship. Athletics Communications Intern
Our Lady of the Sacred Heart High School (OLSH) is seeking an internship candidate to organize, coordinate, and assist with all aspects of athletics communications, including social and traditional media, for the school. Responsibilities would include game recaps, updating score graphics, and shooting still and video content. This individual will have a range of responsibilities which include: writing, editing, graphic design, social media, archiving, and content management. This role serves to positively influence the perceptions and narratives about the Our Lady of the Sacred Heart High School and to promote the events and initiatives of the OLSH Athletics Program. This is a part-time, unpaid internship.
