Growing up hearing his relatives speak Italian and being immersed in their culture and tradition, OLSH Language Department Chair, Mr. Michael Miller, has always had a passion for foreign languages. A member of the OLSH staff for 23 years, Michael is grateful to share his love of languages and traveling with his students.

OLSH Athletic Director and Head Coach for both girls and boys volleyball teams, Michael “Coach Mac” McDonald, has been an integral part of the OLSH Athletic Community for 35 years. With his family also involved at OLSH for years, Coach Mac is proud and grateful to be a part of a community that inspires team players both on and off the court.

Inspiring Students to Have an Open Mind: Meet Mr. Zach Korzi

OLSH Math Teacher, Zach Korzi, did not have a linear path to his current career at OLSH. After leaving law school in 2018, Zach has embraced his love of teaching and hasn’t looked back. He wants to make his classroom fun and engaging for students while encouraging them to have an open mind about the future.

To OLSH Librarian Bethany Cvitkovic, the most important part of her job is creating an inviting and collaborative environment for students in the Tisch Family Library. She is very involved in the school and wants to use her background to connect with students and introduce them to new ideas and experiences through the resources at the library.

A Unique Chi Rho Retreat Experience on the OLSH Campus

The annual Chi Rho Retreat had to move from a traditional retreat center to the OLSH campus. Students were still able to participate in all aspects of this life-changing retreat despite the effects of Covid-19.
