OLSH Earns Reaccreditation from Middle States Association

OLSH recently received official word of our reaccreditation from the Middle States Association Commissions on Elementary and Secondary Schools (MSA-CESS). OLSH completed the reaccreditation process in the fall, demonstrating our school's commitment to ongoing improvement and meeting or exceeding standards set by the Middle States Association.

OLSH is among more than 130 schools that successfully completed the reaccreditation process during this cycle. “I am happy to congratulate the schools that achieved Middle States accreditation or reaccreditation. Accreditation is voluntary, professional peer review in service of school improvement. Pursuing accreditation helps the entire school community: administrators, teachers, parents, and students, to think about the future they want and how to get there," commented Christian Talbot, CEO/President of MSA. "Earning accreditation shows that a school is committed to doing everything it can to support its students.”

Thank you to our Middle States steering team - Mrs. O'Connell, Mrs. Snatchko, and Mrs. Mercando - for their leadership and work during the process. Thank you to all of our faculty, staff, students, parents, and alumni who completed surveys, served on committees, put plans in action, and supported the process over the past seven years.
