Girls Basketball Celebrates Senior Night

Annabeth Grayson saw her first game action of the season after being sidelined with an ACL injury. Grayson plans to pursue a degree in biology/pre-medicine after graduation, with her college decision still to be determined.

Leah Parker contributed a strong all-around performance with 6 points and 7 rebounds. In the fall, Parker will attend Duquesne University to study pharmacology.

Lola Garner led the Chargers offensively, finishing with 13 points and 7 rebounds. Garner plans to become a physician assistant and will attend Duquesne University.

Sara Daeschner added 3 points and 6 assists. After graduation, Daeschner plans to attend The University of Akron, where she will major in exercise science.

Camryn Hummel showcased her defensive skills with 7 steals and 4 assists. Hummel plans to study biology/pre-medicine and is considering the University of Pittsburgh or Duquesne University.

Alexa Schmidt recorded 2 assists, 2 steals, and a basket. Schmidt will attend Penn State University, where she plans to major in psychology.

Rounding out the scoring was Ashlyn Johnson, who finished with 6 points, 5 rebounds, and 2 assists. Johnson plans to pursue nursing, with aspirations of becoming a CRNA following graduation.

It was a special night celebrating the seniors’ commitment to OLSH basketball and a memorable section win for the Chargers.
