OLSH Theatre’s fall play, You Can’t Take It With You, an entirely student-run production, hits the stage Friday, September 19, and Saturday, September 20, at 7:30 PM in the OLSH Auditorium. This production is being submitted to the Pittsburgh Prime Stage High School Drama Awards. Tickets are available now at olshtheatre.ludus.com.

This year’s production is truly a student effort—students are responsible for directing, stage management, acting, set construction, costumes, lighting, sound, and publicity. By taking on every aspect of the production, OLSH students are gaining valuable leadership and creative experience while bringing this classic comedy to life.

You Can’t Take It With You tells the story of the delightfully eccentric Sycamore family, whose unconventional lifestyle challenges the beliefs of the straight-laced Kirby family. With its humor, heart, and timeless message, the play celebrates individuality, family, and finding joy in the everyday.
