Updates from OLSH on the 2020-2021 Academic Year

OLSH is carefully planning for a variety of scenarios for the 2020-2021 academic year, and a committee of faculty, staff, and administrators are considering recommendations from the PA Department of Education, PA Department of Health, Allegheny County Health Department (ACHD), and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) as we develop policies and guidelines related to this ongoing public health situation. Information will be communicated to parents and students via email, and updates will be posted on the COVID-19 Updates & Resources page.
The committee meets weekly and is planning for a variety of possibilities, including:

-All students returning to school full time for face-to-face instruction
-A hybrid schedule with a portion of the student body attending school 2-3 days per week, alternating with remote learning from home 2-3 days per week
-Online instruction in the event of a mandated school closure
-Options for families who have health concerns about a return to in-person instruction
