The recipients are drawn from the Poleski Scholarship pool of applicants. This scholarship will be awarded on an as-needed basis (as determined by the benefactor) to a student who demonstrates a love of learning as well as a propensity for helping people, and who exudes empathetic concern for others. The scholarship is renewable in the junior and senior years if the student maintains the scholarship's eligibility requirements.

The John A. Mihaloew Endowed Scholarship was awarded to James Benke '21. The Susan P. Fahey Memorial Scholarship was awarded to Maddie Fiedler '21. This scholarship is awarded to a junior who is planning to take an advanced level of language in his or her senior year. It is given in honor of OLSH Spanish teacher, Miss Susan Fahey, who lost her battle with cancer.
