What
Children's Scholarship Fund Financial Aid Applications DUE TODAY
When
5/31/2024

Applications for additional financial aid through the Children's Scholarship Fund (a Pennsylvania non-profit) are available through May 31st. Based on the school district in which you reside, your family could qualify for this special scholarship opportunity. Please visit the State's OSTC page and check the list of 2024-25 Low Achieving Schools to see if you are eligible: https://www.education.pa.gov/K-12/Opportunity%20Scholarship%20Tax%20Credit%20Program/Pages/default.aspx

Please note:

  • A family can only apply for the portion of tuition for which they are responsible in the upcoming 2024-2025 school year. At no time can a family request scholarship monies for past due tuition amounts.
  • A family must subtract any other grant, aid, or scholarship funds they receive from the total amount of tuition for their child. OLSH Financial Aid packages will be announced by mid-May. You may submit this application with the total amount of OLSH tuition and any renewable scholarships you may have. The Children's Scholarship Fund works with the OLSH business office to verify any financial aid granted after the time of application.
  • Please be sure to only apply for the amount of OLSH tuition - $13,000 - and not include the AAC fee of $500 or Technology fee of $125.
  • Be sure to complete Part B: If there is a second adult living in the household, regardless of relationship to the child/children, this part must be completed. Missing information will deem the application incomplete and could jeopardize a family from receiving scholarships.
  • You will be required to enter the county and public school district of each child regardless of the type of scholarship you are applying for.

In order to take advantage of this opportunity, please complete the application no later than May 31, 2024.

To apply, visit https://csfofpa.org/apply, click to access either the online or paper application, and select "Opportunity Scholarship" at the top of the application. Be sure to review all application instructions on the webpage and include the $25 non-refundable application fee.

There is a limited amount of money available through this fund. The Children's Scholarship Fund will consider applications on a first-come, first-served basis until all available funding has been exhausted.
