Rock-Paper-Scissors
As students come into school on Friday, they will each be given a purple bead necklace. Throughout the day, they will be able to play each other at rock paper scissors. When one student loses, they will be out of the game and give all their necklaces to the student who beat them. The goal is to have the most bead necklaces by the end of the day.
In order to not disrupt classes, students will only be able to play during specified times. Students may play before homeroom, in the hallways between classes, during study halls/ in the commons, and during lunch periods. Students should not be playing during your class unless you have given them permission to. If students are playing during class when they shouldn’t be, you have permission to take all of their beads. Additionally if students are late to class because they are playing in the halls, you may take their beads.
We would like you to participate as well! All faculty and staff members will find a gold bead necklace in their mailbox Friday morning. Students may challenge you to a game of rock paper scissors, but only after they have won at least 5 necklaces from other students.
The competition will end at the start of 9th period. During 9th period, a SADD officer will come around to your room to record who in your class has the most beads and collect all the bead necklaces from students so that we can reuse them in future years. The winner will be announced at the end of the day and will receive a Sheetz gift card.
