We invite you to tour the Eucharistic Miracles Exhibit!

Over a three-year period that began last June, every Catholic diocese, parish, school, apostolate, and family in the US is invited to be a part of renewing the Church -- by enkindling a living relationship with Jesus Christ in the Holy Eucharist -- as part of The Eucharistic Revival.

Here at OLSH, early in the school year we announced that we signed on as an inaugural member of the Cardinal Newman Society’s National Task Force on Eucharistic Education.  Throughout the year we have been building on traditions like the annual Eucharistic Procession, and adding additional opportunities to educate and inspire our students, faculty, staff, and parents.

Next week, as part of our Catholic Schools Week celebration, Bishop William Waltersheid will visit OLSH, and among other things, will bring along an extensive exhibit focused on Eucharistic miracles that have taken place across the globe. Because the Real Presence in the Eucharist is the cornerstone of our Catholic teaching and tradition, and at the heart of our relationship with Jesus, it is with great pleasure that we will welcome Bishop Waltersheid to our campus, and hear about Blessed Carlo Acutis (1991-2006), who was beatified by Pope Francis in 2020, making him the first millennial to be Blessed. He was a typical teenager who loved his family, friends, sports, having fun, and the computer. At the same time, he possessed an extraordinary love for Jesus, the church, and others. He had a tremendous devotion to the Eucharist as well as our Lady. With his love for the Eucharist and his computer skills, he created a website

http://www.miracolieucaristici.org/en/liste/list.html that highlights the various Eucharistic miracles throughout the world, which the exhibit displays. This exhibit is accompanied by a first-class relic of Blessed Acutis.

OLSH students will have the opportunity to view the exhibit during theology classes next week. We are excited to invite parents/guardians and alumni to view the exhibit, as well. The exhibit, located in Founders Hall, will be open to our OLSH Community on:

Wednesday, February 1, from 3:00-7:30pm

Thursday, February 2, from noon-6:00pm

Friday, February 3, from 8:30-11:30am
