A test alert message will be sent out tomorrow, Wednesday, November 15 at 5:00 pm from OLSH. At that time, you should receive a phone call, text message, and/or email with a test alert message, based on the contact information you have listed in Blackbaud. Those receiving the message on a cell phone for the first time will be asked to opt in to receive future text message alerts. Please take a moment to reply YES to the opt in message to see the actual test alert message. You will only need to do this once. (If you do nothing, or reply NO, you will no longer receive text message alerts from OLSH.)
Our messaging system pulls contact information directly from Blackbaud, so it is essential to keep your phone numbers current! Note: There is no need to designate a number for a phone blast - all numbers listed will receive those calls/texts.
Weather-related alerts or other schedule change messages will also be sent to student emails, as well as student cell phone numbers, if entered in Blackbaud. If you would like your child to receive these messages by text/voice call, please check to see if their phone number is entered in Blackbaud. Parents have the ability to add their student's mobile number in Blackbaud by going to their student's profile and adding it to their contact card.
If you have any questions, please email [email protected] and someone will get back to you.
