Fundraiser: "Anything But a Backpack Day" (sponsored by NHS; proceeds benefit Our Lady's Food Pantry)

When: Monday, May 23

Cost: $2 to participate, all proceeds benefit Our Lady's Pantry

Logistics:

• Students must have items visible when walking through the student entrance upon arrival

  • Items that violate the guidelines will be left in the Main Office

• Students who wish to participate in the contest will get their picture taken in the Hall of Community during their lunches

• Voting will be over Instagram and a Google Form sent out to the students

• Teachers/Administrators may collect the containers at any time if they become a distraction

• Feel free to contact Administration, Rachael or Regina at any time to confiscate any distraction

• Behavior points and other consequences will be at the discretion of teachers/administrators

• “Groups” (for the creatively-themed group category) count as 3-5 people

• Envelopes will be provided, money to be collected in homerooms

Guidelines:

• No backpacks except for the usual drawstring bags

• All containers must be able to be carried up the steps

  • May not use the elevator to carry the item between floors

• Containers may be no larger than 3 ft. tall x 2 ft. wide

• Banned items:

  • Animals

  • People

  • Real shopping carts

  • Items that reference alcohol or drug use

• All items must be carry-able; no items may be dragged or rolled on the floor
  
  

Prizes:

• Most creative individual: 

  • 1 dress down day during finals OR a $25 gift card 

• Most creatively-themed group:

  • 1 dress down day during finals OR a $10 gift card per teammate
