You are cordially invited to join the OLSH family for our official "first" events for incoming freshmen!


Freshman Foundations Day for the Class of 2023 will take place on Sunday, August 18. This event begins at 11:00 am in the Angela Activities Center (OLSH gymnasium) and includes a variety of fun activities for the students. Lunch will also be provided.

Parents and siblings are invited back to join the students for Welcome Mass and Matriculation at 4:00 pm in the OLSH Chapel to formally welcome the Class of 2023. (This Mass will fulfill the Sunday obligation for Catholics.) Mass will be followed by a Welcome Picnic with dinner for all attendees!
*In order to gain an accurate count for Mass and dinner, please RSVP to Mrs. Kelly Pontiere at (412) 424-4615 or [email protected] by Friday, August 9. Please also make Mrs. Pontiere aware of any dietary restrictions for your family.

We will also need volunteers from the Class of 2023 to serve as readers and gift bearers during Mass. If your child would like to help in this capacity, please contact Jessica Sellman at (412) 262-3300 or [email protected].
