All students who are interested in entering the freshman class in the fall of 2019 should attend one of these three testing sessions. Please keep in mind session sizes are limited, so register now!
*Additionally, students taking the OLSH Placement Test will be eligible for a new scholarship opportunity! A generous benefactor will award TWO high-achieving students entering the OLSH Class of 2023 with a $7,500 scholarship, good for each of their four years at OLSH. This equates to a $30,000 scholarship for each student over their high school career!
All students will be taking math, reading, and language exams as part of the placement test. These tests will be administered via computer, and are self-paced. Students can take as long as necessary to complete the required number of questions, which are customized to the student's proven knowledge. As such, your student may require longer than the two hours allotted to complete the test.
Performance on the test will be used to place students into math, English, and science courses. Results will also serve to pre-qualify students for honors and advanced level courses in their freshman year. Any student who wishes to be considered for the Honors English 9 course should plan to stay for an additional 20-30 minutes after their testing session to complete an essay.
