What
Seeds of Hope Week-Long Retreat begins
When
6/17/2018

Seeds of Hope is an annual week-long experience with student leaders from Felician-sponsored high schools across North America who are:

interested in developing their leadership potential
motivated by faith and interested in nurturing and strengthening their spirituality
committed to being the seeds of change through their leadership and service in the community

The week includes:

leadership training sessions
exploration of the connection between the care of creation and ecological and social justice
participation in a social justice outreach to those in need
building upon the servant leader concept as each student creates and ultimately leads a service project in her own school or community
daily Mass and opportunities for the Sacrament of Reconciliation and for Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament
fun activities by the Retreat Center's lake

The program will be held at the Felician Maryville Retreat Center in Holly, Michigan, from June 17-23, 2018. Applications are available in the Main Office or from any Theology teacher. The deadline to apply is March 1, 2018. Only 30 girls will be accepted from the U.S. and Canada, so please don't wait to apply.

There is a $100 fee to attend (which includes meals and lodging), however, financial aid is available. Please do not let finances determine your participation. OLSH is willing to work with families to help them afford this valuable experience.

For more information, please contact Mr. Tim Plocinik at [email protected] or any Theology teacher.
