Course Description
The course focuses on the modern Civil Rights Movement through the mediums of biography and film. Students learn to critically evaluate these historical sources as they trace major events of the Civil Rights Movement and evaluate their impact. Through written assignments and discussion, students will explore the main issues, players, events, and ideologies of the Civil Rights Movement.
