Easy assignment/lesson for today. This will cover Section 7.4, which is only concerned about carbon dioxide and particulate matter. I want you to know what particulate matter is, as well as the different sources of particulate matter and carbon dioxide, and their effects on human and environmental health.

Once you finish, go outside and enjoy the nice weather, and the slightly improved air quality resulting from a few less people driving each day.

Please go in to the Google Form attached to this assignment and answer this question. This is meant to get you acquainted with this type of technology. It's not super complicated! However, if you have any issues with seeing this assignment, getting to the Google Form, submitting the completed quiz, etc...please let me know.

Write one slide each (4 total) about the following types of irrigation in a Google Slides file.

1) Drip
2) Furrow
3) Flood
4) Spray

Please include at least 3 sentences and 1 picture for each type. Turn it in here.

1) Make a claim: Is the creek healthy or not? First, provide some background information about the Montour Run (geography, size of stream, type of ecosystem, etc.), and then make your claim.

2) Provide evidence: Use the data you acquired in the field to support your claim. First, explain how each parameter, in general, indicates the relative health of the stream, then describe your specific data and whether they indicate a healthy or unhealthy stream.

3) Use reasoning: Why do you think the characteristics of the stream (your data) is the way that it is? Do you think this data is sufficient in the analysis of the stream? Explain.

Your report should be typed, in APA format. An APA format guide is attached to this post.

Hi!

Since we are not going to have class tomorrow (Latin Mass), you will need to complete your assignment, and be ready to discuss your species, by Friday. Here are some directions:

1) Create a Google Slides presentation.
2) Research an organism that represents a generalist, specialist, K-selected, and r-selected species. So you should have 4 different total species.
3) Write 2-3 sentences for each, in which you describe how that species fits into that category. Discuss both the habitat and resources that species can utilize.
4) Submit your work to me by Friday at 8 am!
