Student Ambassadors

Welcome to the OLSH Student Ambassadors, a team of trained, knowledgeable, responsible students who represent Our Lady of the Sacred Heart High School at various school and community events throughout the year, including open houses, grade school visits, shadow student visits, and a host of other OLSH events. We look forward to meeting you!
 
MISSION
The Student Ambassador Program provides Our Lady of the Sacred Heart High School with student leaders who participate in an official capacity as representatives of the school at various events and activities throughout the school year. The program serves to enrich and enhance the leadership and communication skills, personal growth, and professional development of its student members, while creating an alliance of spirited students who help advance the recruitment and public relations activities of the school.
 
CRITERIA FOR MEMBERSHIP
The OLSH Student Ambassador Program is open to qualified juniors and seniors.
 
Students are evaluated on the following criteria:
 
  • Strong achievement in both academic and non-academic activities
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Enthusiasm and positive school spirit
  • Works well with others as a contributing member of a team
  • Successfully balances academic responsibilities along with their ambassador duties
  • Attendance at all mandatory ambassador events
  • Maintains a 3.0 GPA or higher in all semesters
  • Possesses a keen knowledge of the school and is a willing learner
  • Maintains a conduct grade of 93 or higher
  • Maintains a positive and appropriate representation of themselves and of the school at all times (including but not limited to in-school, outside-school, and social media activity)
 
Students interested in applying to be a Student Ambassador at OLSH are invited to submit their application in the spring of the current school year. Applicants are reviewed in May/June for selection and notified of the decision.
