The Student Ambassador Program provides Our Lady of the Sacred Heart High School with student leaders who participate in an official capacity as representatives of the school at various special events during the school year. The program serves to enrich and enhance leadership and communication skills, personal growth, and professional development for its’ student members, while creating an alliance of spirited students who help advance the recruitment and public relations activities of the school.
The Student Ambassadors' main purpose is the positive promotion of Our Lady of the Sacred Heart High School. The group works directly with the Advancement Office, faculty, and administration throughout the year.
Some of the Student Ambassador activities and responsibilities include:
- Conducting school tours
- Assisting at Admissions events such as the new student orientation, the Welcome Picnic, & Open House
- Working at school Advancement events such as the PLC Reception, and the Legacy Gala
- Visiting local elementary schools or CCD programs to promote OLSH
