PA Businesses Reallocate Tax Dollars to OLSH Tuition Assistance

The Bridge Educational Foundation presents a check to OLSH students for tuition assistance. The gift is Tax Credit money that is earmarked for OLSH in the Scholastic Opportunity Scholarship Fund.
Businesses in the state of Pennsylvania can reallocate money from their state taxes to financial aid at OLSH. The Educational Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) program allows businesses to give up to $300,000 a year to OLSH. The business receives a 90% tax credit (if donating for two consecutive years), and families at OLSH would receive tuition assistance.
Ask your employer to consider reallocating tax dollars to OLSH. If you own a business, ask your accountant if you are eligible to participate in EITC. The tax credit money is limited and becomes available on July 1st. Contact Cheryl Karashin, Director of Advancement at 412/269-7726 to learn more about this opportunity.
Thank You to OLSH EITC Donors!
We extend special thanks to the following companies currently donating to OLSH tuition assistance through EITC:
- CSX Transportation
- Fratangelo Gardens Market & Nursery, Inc.
- Greater Pittsburgh Surgical Alliance, P.C.
- Jian Strategic Marketing
