OLSH’s Legacy Gala

The Legacy Gala is Our Lady of the Sacred Heart’s premier fundraising event featuring live and silent auctions, dinner, raffles, and the presentation of the Legacy Awards. It is also an opportunity for members of the OLSH family to join together and celebrate and support our mission.

OLSH Legacy Award

Teachers, parents, alumni and friends of OLSH gathered on Saturday, March 31, at the Hyatt Regency Pittsburgh International Airport, to celebrate and advance the mission of OLSH by attending the Legacy Gala. Starting the evening with an outstanding performance, current parent Mike Gallagher entertained guests during cocktail hour, sponsored by First Niagara Bank.

Festivities of the evening continued as honorees Ron and Cathy Tisch were awarded the Legacy Award. Alumni parents of Jason ‘90, Andrew ’91 and Tracy ‘96, the Tisch’s have been strong supporters of OLSH since they moved to the Pittsburgh area in 1982. Ron and Cathy’s commitment and support of OLSH and Catholic education is clearly demonstrated in their words, actions, and generosity. The entire OLSH community recognizes and appreciates this exemplary commitment.

The elegantly served dinner was sponsored by Howard Hanna Real Estate Services. This year’s live auction was our most successful, bringing in the over $12,000. Totals from the silent auction are still being tallied; we are excited to report the final totals in the coming days!
