OLSH

Endowment Funds

A gift to the OLSH endowment is a gift that is kept in perpetuity and invested in a way that protects the original amount (the principal) from inflation. The income derived from the investment can provide a stable and somewhat predictable source of funding for academic programs and financial aid. The larger the endowment, the more income OLSH will have to support our various programs.

With a gift to the OLSH endowment, you are helping to support the education of a future generation of young men and women. As the endowment grows and becomes a dependable income stream, OLSH no longer has to depend solely on tuition to provide for its substantial financial requirements. These gifts are critical to the future of OLSH.

Named Scholarship Funds in the OLSH Endowment

OLSH provides the opportunity to remember or honor a person or family by establishing an endowed fund in their name(s). A Named Endowed Scholarship is an ideal way to honor a person not only at the time it is created, but also far into the future, as these scholarships last in perpetuity because only the interest is used to support the scholarship while the principal continuously grows. There is a minimum amount needed to initiate such a fund, or the named fund can be created later with a will bequest or other planned gift.
