How To Apply
OLSH has a rolling admissions process. Under this process, prospective students are invited to submit their applications to OLSH at anytime until the start of the school year, or until we reach capacity. Applications are still being accepted for all classes for the 2011-2012 school year.

Placement Tests
Students who are currently in the eighth grade and are considering attending OLSH in the 2012-2013 school year are required to take a placement test prior to acceptance. If you are applying for acceptance at OLSH and have taken a placement test at another location, please make sure to include your test scores with your application.
Applicants to the 9th grade
In order to apply for admission to OLSH, each 9th grade applicant needs to complete the following requirements:
- Complete Application for Admission
- Complete Placement Test Registration Form (test required for all incoming freshmen)
- Complete Catholic Memorandum for Understanding
- Submit the final 7th Grade Report Card
- Submit 8th Grade Report Card (Thus Far)
- Submit Standardized Testing Scores (Terra Nova, PSSA, IOWA, etc.)
- Complete the Student Essay Question
- Submit $25 Application Fee ($45 after February 1, 2012)
- Submit Discipline Reports (if requested)
Applicants to the 10th and 11th grades
In order to apply for admission to OLSH, each transfer applicant needs to complete the following requirements:
- Complete Application for Admission
- Complete Catholic Memorandum for Understanding
- Submit Current Transcript from present school
- Submit Most Recent Standardized Testing Scores (Terra Nova, PSSA, IOWA, etc.)
- Complete Student Essay Question
- Submit $25 Application Fee ($45 after February 1, 2012)
- Submit Discipline Reports (if requested)
- Attend an Interview to determine course preparedness and scheduling
Mid-year Applicants to the 9th, 10th and 11th grades
OLSH accepts transfer students at the start of the second semester if the student’s course work is transferable during the academic year.
In order to apply for mid-year admission to OLSH, each transfer applicant needs to complete the following requirements:
- Complete Application for Admission
- Complete Catholic Memorandum for Understanding
- Current Transcript from present school
- Submit Most Recent Standardized Testing Scores (Terra Nova, PSSA, IOWA, etc.)
- Submit Student Essays
- Submit $25 Application Fee ($45 after February 1, 2012)
- Submit Discipline Reports (when applicable)
- Attend an Interview to determine course preparedness and scheduling
- Schedule A “Charger for A Day” visit (strongly encouraged)
